I can say nothing.. i have not seen either of those films.. but i can say that India has beome less sexist than it was in 1940 and before.

I love to watch these 2 movies.

Bride and Prejudice /with Aishwarya Rai/ is about Indian marriages, both to local, Indian abroad and foreign people. About the love, marriage and traditions.

Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi /with Shah Rukh Khan/ is also about the love, friendship, Indian average life, traditions, etc.

If you'll have a possibility I recommend you to watch them, I'm sure you'll like them, too. Both are romantic drama-comedies.

Well, going there to visit is one thing, but LIVING there is another..lol
It's of course depending on the place you wana be at, but most places there are just too extremely dirty & crowded. There's no space to live. The people there are extremely unhygienic, most of them don't know the definition of that word, i.e. if you go there and wana eat something outside, which is just an everyday-thing in UK, then you'd probably get some nasty illness. My jaan once went to McDonald's there and got a typhus. In India are still illnesses which have died out everywhere else in the world and the simple reason for that is that 99% of the Indians (in India) don't like washing themselves and their hands. All the houses are broken there, everything is damaged, the air is EXTREMELY bad. One day in Mumbai is the same for your lung as smoking a whole pack of cigarettes. Of course there are good places which are not like this, but they are minority.

I think the first one of those films is ... not that good... lol
I'd never watch it again for sure. It's an English film mixed with Indian stuff. Aishwarya did a few such movies... also this Mistress of Spices is like that. I don't really find them that good.. it's good though if you like Aishwarya. My mom enjoyed those movies since she finds Aishwarya stunning

Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi was lovely. No nudity, no 'sexy' item numbers, no anything that I hate so much... lol I loved Anushka in this, I wished she would have done more such movies. I mean I've seen all her movies till now since I think her face has something very cute and something girl-next-door-like, which reminds me of Divya but then she started doing some crappy scenes, which is very sad I think. Shahrukh didn't look that handsome in this movie but his character was pretty cute and the story was cute too..

Not all.. i mean my grandparents all live there.. my aunties and uncles cousins whatever- they're houses aint broken down... i used to live there when i was like 2 - in new delhi

I don't watch new movies much.. i've only seen Aitraaz, Dil Hai Tumhara, Koi..mil..gaya ( watched half then got bored)and Parineeta.. and another but i forgot it's name..
